In the mid-fifties, Rodo’s founder Romualdo Dori set out to design a wicker handbag, inspired by Dutch shopping bags, and ignited a new craze amongst style-conscious shoppers.
The Italian house has since been passed on to Romualdo’s son Maurizio Dori, who focused on creating more glamorous accessories.
Famed for their crystal-encrusted clutches, Rodo is a red-carpet favourite for international starlets.
