Terra Plana are pleased to introduce the ultimate in high heel court shoes. The Melito is not only lightweight but flexible too, unheard of in a double mount shoe! A sexy super high heel shoe that's good for you? Can it be true? Yes it can! Made from vegetable tanned leathers and with a recycled memory foam lining this shoe is the ultimate in high heel comfort too. The quilt version is made using our recycled Pakistani quilts making each pair one of a kind. Please note: the pair that you order may feature different colour/pattern quilts from any of those featured in the photos. Approximate heel height 11cm.

An essential component of eco design is lightness - things are less energy consuming and easier to ship around the world. It is also good for you to have light footwear - take a load off.

Vegetable Tanned
Vegetable tanned leather is a natural alternative to Chrome tanning. The leather is prepared using vegetable extracts that create beautiful deep leathers.
Locally Sourced
Where possible we try to source materials local to the factories where our products are manufactured - minimising on transportation.
Recycled
We try to use as many different recycled materials as possible - from soling materials to old coats and parachutes.
Memory Foam
Memory foam is light-weight, shock absorbing, breathable and wicks moisture. The natural odor absorbing active carbon is fast drying and anti-bacteria, and contains no chrome.
