Brown Steer, Metal Wall Art by Ben Gatski,This stunning steer head is made with recycled farm machinery and reclaimed wood The metal used for the head is thick steel from weathered farm machinery The head pattern is hand drawn on the metal with soapstone and cut with a hand held plasma cutter The shapes are then hand hammered and arc welded together to form the head The eyes are found nuts from bolts and the head is mounted on a recycled corn planter disk The horns are cut from a large block of wood and shaped by handThis steer head is sealed with a waterbased enamel It can be hung inside or out Each head will have subtle variations They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differencesCare Wipe clean with a damp cloth If outdoors you can maintain a shiny metal look entirely optional by applying a clear metal enamel available in a spray can at your local hardware store
