British jewelry designer Alex Monroe set up his first studio in South London in 1987. Since then, he has garnered fans including style mavens Kate Moss and Thandie Newton, who can't resist the signature delicacy and detail of his nature-inspired jewelry. The increasing success of the label culminated in Monroe being named Designer of the Year at 2008's UK Jewelry Awards. All Monroe's pieces are handmade to ensure they are imbued with a distinct individuality and we have already fallen for his fabulously bobo Feather Hoops.
